More Things To Do:

The Abaco's have long been known for beautiful weather, pristine beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters. The Abaco's are much more than sun, sand and sea. Below is just a short list of activities you can enjoy while visiting our islands, Enjoy!

Fowl Cay Land & Sea Park

A national underwater sea park, Fowl Cay preserve lies between the north end of Man-0-War Cay and the southern tip of Scotland Cay. A short boat trip can take you to this shallow, protected reef where both novice as well as experienced divers and snorkelers can enjoy an afternoon of fun! Flourishing with sea life, this area is one of Abaco’s top attractions!

Hope Town Lighthouse

Elbow Cay is home to the most famous landmark in the Abaco's - the red and white candy striped lighthouse. One of only three kerosene-powered lighthouses in the world, and a climb of 101 steps, breathtaking views await you at the top of this lighthouse built in 1864.

Beaches

The Abaco's have some of the most magnificent beaches in the world. While you'll never be able to visit all of them in one stay, here are a few ideas. Two of the most beautiful beaches you will find in the Abacos are right outside your doorstep, located on either side of our resort. If you venture off of Man-O-War Cay, Tahiti Beach at the south end on Elbow Cay is a powder white beach lined with Palm trees, and on the Atlantic side of any cay you will find a beach perfect for walks, body surfing or boogie boarding. Just south of Tilloo Cay, there is a beautiful chain of small islands known as the Pelican Cays. The Pelican Cays are a protected land and sea park that is a perfect spot for a snorkel or picnic.

Diving

The Great Abaco Barrier Reef is the world’s third largest barrier reef. The reef runs almost 100 miles from Walkers Cay, past Man-O-War to about 20 miles south of Elbow Cay. Many species of coral, fish, and marine life are found in abundance on this reef.

Fishing

Whether it's Bone fishing in the flats, or deep sea fishing just beyond the reef in the Atlantic, you'll find some of the best fishing in the world here in the Abaco's. Visit our Area Resource page for information on arranging your fishing guide or charter.

Boating

Abaco provides a natural sound between the mainland and the outlying cays. Generally protected, this is what is known as the Sea of Abaco. This geographical layout offers calm seas easy for island hopping, sailing, and exploring!
